Doctoral and Postdoctoral Professionalism Series: Workshops that provide training in a range of professional skills that are critical for professional career success.

Research Series: A series of grant writing and K Award workshops designed to meet your career development needs based upon your scientific path and your career stage.

SCIENCE Career Symposium: This interactive workshop is designed to bolster the professional development of postdoctoral fellows and graduate students by providing practical input for discovering emerging opportunities in today’s job market. Information for October workshop TBA.

Postdoctoral Orientation to Career Development: A monthly seminar that provides an overview of postdoctoral programs and services and provides a framework to facilitate successful career planning and development.

UPPDA Fall Postdoctoral Picnic: Postdocs and their friends and families are invited to network and socialize at this UPPDA picnic event.

UPPDA Postdoctoral Data & Dine Symposium: A scientific poster session and networking dinner for University of Pittsburgh postdoctoral associates and scholars to present their research to colleagues, faculty, and administrators. 2020 Data & Dine Link Coming Soon.

For Women Trainees

Women in Medicine & Science Forum: An annual event to celebrate and highlight the presence and accomplishments of women in medicine and science at the University; to provide a venue for women to share strengths, talents, and experience; and to foster an academic culture which supports the professional and personal development of women students, postdoctoral and clinical fellows, and faculty members in medicine and science.
